Alexander County added it’s 89th COVID-19 associated death on Tuesday

According to the Alexander County Health Department 89 county citizens have died since the beginning of the pandemic

As of noon on Tuesday

4 new cases

131 cases in past 7 days

263 cases in past 14 days

4872 total cases since beginning of pandemic

8 people hospitalized with associated symptoms

38 percent of county population has received 1 dose of vaccine

35 percent are fully vaccinated
