The Lady Cougars built a 6-0 lead and hung on in Salisbury.
Faith Carrigan allowed 4 runs (2 unearned) and struck out 8 to earn the win. 7 different Cougars hit safely. Carrigan, Ava Chapman, Peyton Price, Macy Law, and Anna Jordan all had runs batted in. All four runs for the Mustangs scored in the home half of inning 6.
ACHS is now 8-0. East drops to 4-1.
