Alexander Central Softball Romps Over North Lincoln

North Lincoln 4…5 innings

The game was tied after four innings at North Lincoln. That’s when the Lady Cougars started hitting and North Lincoln started having fielding woes.

Alexander Central scored 6 runs in the 4th and had 11 runners cross the plate in the 5th. Faith Carrigan drove in 5 runs, going 3-4 including a homer. She pitched the last three innings in relief without allowing a hit and striking out 7. Kirstyn Herman went 3-5 and drove in 4. Ava Chapman homered and went 2-3 including a home run. Payton Price went 3-4 and plated 2 runs. Kenzie Church 3 hits in 4 at bats and Abby Teague and Anna Jordan both had a pair of hits. The Lady Cougars had 18 hits and improve to 6-0. North Lincoln committed 5 errors leading to 6 unearned runs. North drops to 3-3.

Taylor Roseman went 4-4 with 7 rbi and Laney Wike went 3-3 driving in 3 runs
