Alexander Central Softball Opens Season Today

The Alexander Central Softball Team opens their 2022 season today at Maiden.

The game will being at 6pm.

The Lady Cougars made it to the State 3A finals last Spring losing two games to one. They finished the year at 16-5 in the Pandemic shortened season.

Highschoolot.com has tabbed the Lady Cougars as the #3 team in Western North Carolina behind East Forsyth and North Buncombe. They defeated North during their playoff run a year ago.
