The Lady Cougars held of the Panthers in a game played Tuesday in Lenoir.
Faith Carrigan picked up her 15th win of the season going 7 innings allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on 7 hits, 11 K’s and 2 walks. She homered and drove in 3. Kirstyn Herman also hit a home run for ACHS. Chesney Stikeleather had a pair of hits and scored a run.
Alexander Central improves to 18-2 and 8-1 in Northwestern Conference play.
