Alexander Central 13…5 innings

Kirstyn Herman went 4-4 and drove in 5 runs, Faith Carrigan went 2-2 and drove in a pair. Carrigan got the win in the circle as the Lady Cougars improve to 17-1 overall and 7-0 in Northwestern Conference play.

Varsity Baseball

Alexander Central 7

The Cougars built a 6-0 lead after 4 and avenged their only loss of the season with a win at Bob Gryder Stadium. Catcher Gage Weaver was 2-3 and 3 rbi. Caleb Williams went 3-3 and drove in a run. JD Little got the win for ACHS who stands at 15-1 and 6-1 in league action.

Men’s Golf

The Cougars won a 9-hole tri-match over Lake Norman and Newton Conover on Tuesday at Brushy Mountain Golf Club in Taylorsville. Aiden Hollar was medalist with an even par 36. Avery Cook and Christian Stone carded 38’s. Sam Johnson had a 40.
