It was big play night for the Baby Cougars.
Alexander Central rolled over Ashe County in Taylorsville rolling up 373 yards, all on the ground. Jeremiah Whitaker rushed for 126 yards and scored on runs of 54 and 25 yards. Jamison Rowe scored from 42 and 20 yards. Jaheim Redmond outraced the Husky defense for a 79 yard score and Ryan Young returned a kick for a 79 yard touchdown.
Ty Matheson led the AC defense with 6 tackles.
