The Blue and Gold never trailed and were up by 15 at the half. Ten Cougars scored led by Avery Cook and Evan Presnell with 13 each, Dusty Sigmon added 12. AC went 19 of 22 at the free throw line including Evan Presnell’s 8 for 8. The Cougars are now 4-1, the loss sent Newton Conover to 0-5.
