Alexander Central High School was evacuated this afternoon due to a fire alarm being triggered by an in-class learning activity.
School staff, along with multiple responding agencies, acted quickly and worked together to address the situation. We are thankful to report that at no time were students or staff in any danger. School dismissal will proceed as normal-but with a slight delay. Buses may arrive a few minutes behind schedule.
As always, the safety and well-being of our students and staff is our top priority.
