The Cougars win the Northwestern Conference regular season crown with a victory over the Panthers in Taylorsville Tuesday night.
Maddox Jack pitched a 3-hit shutout for the win. The Cougars were limited to only 2 hits but scored on an rbi single by Cam Chapman and scratched a run due to a Hibriten error. Alexander Central is 8-1 in league play and 17-6 overall. They will conclude the regular season tonight at Freedom.

The Lady Cougars scored 10 times in the opening inning and 5 more in the second enroute to a beat-down of Hibriten
Catcher Mcartney Harrrington drove in 7 runs including a homer. Ava Chapman plated 4 runs and Laney Russell added 3 as AC improves to 15-4 and 8-1 in Northwestern Conference play. ACHS is tied atop the league standing with South Caldwell. Laney Wike got the win allowing 4 runs (3 unearned).
