The Cougars humbled Hibriten in the semifinal game of the Catawba Valley Easter Classic Baseball Tournament Wednesday evening. In two games in the event, AC has outscored their foes 20-0.
Maddox Jack got the win going 5 innings. JD Little led Alexander Central at the plate going 2-4 with 3 rbi including a home run. Jaret Hoppes also drove in a pair of runs for the Cougars. Dusty Sigmon had 3 of the Blue and Gold’s 10 hits,
The Cougars are 17-2 and will play St Stephens in the Championship game tonight at 6:30. The Indians beat Fred T Foard in the other semifinal 10-5.
