JD Little and Maddox Jack pitched the Cougars to a win at St Stephens on Wednesday. Little got the win going 7 inning allowing 4 hits, 1 run and 11 strike outs.
The Cougars trailed 1-0 going to the 5th inning when they scored a run. The game would go to an extra inning when AC plated what would be the winning run.
Alexander Central managed just 5 hits. Caleb Williams went 2-4 with a run batted in.
The Cougars improve to 11-1 and will host Hibriten Friday in a Northwestern Conference game. The loss for St Stephens was their first of the year, they’re 10-1.
