***ALERT*** Teen Missing In Alexander County…Updated

Authorities have issued a Silver Alert for a 17-year-old last seen in Alexander County.

Deputies are asking for help finding Isaiah Jack Evans, who was last seen at a home on Moss Drive in Taylorsville. The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons said Evans is believed to either have dementia or another cognitive disability.

He’s described as 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 220 pounds. He has short blonde hair and blue eyes. Deputies believe he could be wearing a blue hoodie and black sweatpants.

Investigators believe he could be in a maroon Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition.

Anyone with information about where Evans may be should call the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office at 828-632-2911.

Update

The 17-year old has been located and is home with his family according to the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office
