The Taylorsville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 32-year old Teonte Raymond Heller. Heller’s last known address was in Statesville. He is wanted for resisting a public officer, no operator’s license, possession of a stolen firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Heller was operating a vehicle that was stopped by Taylorsville Police on Saturday, January 22nd. The vehicle was stopped for no headlights. According to Taylorsville Police Chief Douglas Bowman, Teller fled from the scene on foot. He was last spotted running through the Crest Knolls Apartments parking lot. A short time later he was identified on video at the Arbys Restaurant in Taylorsville.Heller is also wanted for parole violations and has previous convictions for kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault on a law enforcement officer and obstructing justice. Chief Bowman says he should be considered dangerous considering his criminal record.
