**Alert** Iredell County Woman Listed As Missing…Story Updated

The Iredell Co. Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing person. She is Evelyn Edmisten Funderburk, who was last seen at Iredell Memorial Hospital in the early morning hours today (March 2).

Just after eight o’clock this morning, her car, a silver 2013 Kia Optima, was seen traveling north on Highway 3 in the area of Kistler Farm Road, near Mooresville. The car has N.C. license tag number XVF-8684.

Ms. Funderburk was last seen wearing a tan corduroy jacket, tan pants, and a large reddish-colored hat. She is in the early stages of dementia, according to her family.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Evelyn Edminsten Funderburk should call the Sheriff’s Office at 704-878-3180 or call 9-1-1.

Update: The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office says Funderburk has been located and is safe !
