In-person early voting for the Town of Taylorsville election begins today and ends Saturday, November 4.
To be eligible to vote in the Town of Taylorsville election, voters must reside within the town limits of Taylorsville. Only 5 percent of Alexander County’s registered voters reside within the town limits of Taylorsville, currently 1,352 voters out of Alexander County’s 24,901 registered voters.
The Alexander County Board of Elections office will be open twelve weekdays 8:00am until 5:00pm and Saturday November 4 8:00am until 3:00pm. This provides 115 total hours of early voting opportunity.
Individuals who missed the regular voter registration deadline may register and vote at the same time during the early voting period. Same-day registrants must attest to their eligibility and provide proof of where they live.
