A pair of Hiddenite residents are facing charges after their arrest in the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 6th.
The NC Highway Patrol stopped a vehicle on US 64. The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office was alerted after controlled substances were found in the suspect vechicle.
22-year old Amari Cintalus Miller was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000.Miller has multiple previous charges, mostly traffic related, pending in both Alexander and Catawba Counties.
59-year old Scott Darnell Frye is charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of fentanyl and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $20,000.Frye has previous charges of felony possession of methamphetamine pending in Alexander County along with multiple charges of felony larceny after breaking and entering as well as over thirth traffic related offenses.
