6-Month Iredell County Bridge Replacement Project Starting Soon

July 23, 2021 By Richard C. Gilbert

STATESVILLE– N.C. Department of Transportation contractors will close a portion of a Northern Iredell County road for six months starting next week.

Beginning July 26, Jennings Road will be closed between Tomlin Mill Road and Raider Road while crews begin construction of a new bridge over the South Yadkin River. Work is expected to be complete by Jan. 31, 2022

All traffic will be detoured to Friendship Road and Raider Road.

Motorists should use caution while approaching the work zone and plan for delays due to the detour.
