Statesville Police say a teen was shot early this morning.
The 16-year old sustained a gunshot wound to a leg at a location of Inglewood Road. The victim was transported to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
Statesville Officers were called to the scene around 2am.
No information regarding a possible suspect or suspect has been released.
