13th COVID-19 Associated Death Reported In Alexander County

Alexander County has recorded it’s 13 COVID-19 associated death

Information released Friday evening by the Alexander County Health Department shows the following

124 people are in quarantine

27 people are hospitalized

13 deaths associated with the Coronavirus

Of the 1,217 total cases, 1,053 people have recovered

Nationwide, rural cases of COVID-19 are now outpacing the urban areas, including in Alexander County

Citizens are encouraged to continue practicing the 3 Ws: wear a face covering when in public, wait six feet apart, and wash your hands.
