Body Found In Catawba River

A body was found this morning in the Catawba River near Morganton.

Hunters found the body near the Morganton Water Filtration Plant according to the Burke County Sheriff’s Office.

The body is thought to be a white male according to Burke County Sheriff Steve Whisenant.
