Taylorsville Man Placed In Custody

50-year-old Joe Carl Michell Jr. of Little River Church Road, Taylorsville, was placed in the custody of the Alexander County Detention Center on Tuesday. He is detained as the result of his bail being revoked by his bail bondsman.

Mitchell was free on a $30,000 secured bond after being arrested in March by Taylorsville Police. He was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense, felony uttering a forged instrument and resisting arrest.
