Tama Cooper Baker, age 57 , is being held in jail after being charged with outstanding warrants from Catawba County. She was taken into custody at the Alexander County Magistrate’s Office when she arrived there on an unrelated matter. Baker was wanted for probation violation and violation of a domestic violence order. She is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $2,500.
