Anne Marie Flynn
On March 31, Officers with the Troutmen Police Department responded to a report involving the fraudulent withdrawal of $18,000 from a victim’s bank account. The Criminal Investigations Unit immediately began investigating.
Detectives determined that a female suspect entered the Troutman branch of Truist Bank and impersonated the victim by presenting fraudulent identification in order to withdraw funds from the victim’s account. With assistance from a Truist fraud investigator, Detectives identified the suspect as Anne Marie Flynn, 43, of Winston-Salem.
Warrants indicate Flynn has been charged with felony forgery, identity theft, obtaining property by false pretenses, and possession of fraudulent identification.
The warrants were served in Forsyth County, where Flynn was placed under a $100,000 secured bond for the Troutman charges, along with additional charges from Davie County, Forsyth and Lee Counties.
