Woman Charged With Assaulting Taylorsville Police Officer And Urinating In Public

A Hickory woman is facing charges after being arrested Tuesday evening by Taylorsville Police Officers.

Watina Ann Haynes, age 48, is charged with possession of marijuana, intoxicated and disruptive, urinating in public, assault on a government official and resisting a public officer. She was later served a failure to appear warrant. Haynes remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond listed at $16,000. A Monday, November 4th court date is scheduled in Taylorsville.
