John Norman Brooks, age 40 of Wilkesboro, was arrested by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on August 24th. He is charged with felony solicitation of a child by computer and resisting a public officer. Brooks remains in custody under a secured bond of $50,000. His next Taylorsville court appearance is set for September 16th.
