Wilkes Man Arrested In Alexander County

Joseph Rae Widener, age 30 of Wilkes Purlear was charged on Saturday by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office with misuse of the 911 system. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $2,000.
