Deputies, with a search warrant, went to the home of Andre Lamar Green, 58, of 377 Germantown Road, Wilkesboro. Green was taken into custody and charged with felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of cocaine, felony maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance, multiple counts of possession of a firarm by a felon and possession of a stolen firearm. 8 grams of methamphetamine, 65 grams of marijuana, one gram of cocaine and around $1,300 in cash was seized by Deputies.
Green was placed in the Wilkes County Detention Center under a secured bond of $250,000.
A Winston-Salem man regarded as a major fentanyl distributor in Wilkes County has been arrested.Demetrius Patrick Brown, age 30, was taken into custody Thursday Feb. 29, around 11 p.m., in a parking lot in Wilkes County by the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office.
Brown was charged with two counts of felony trafficking in fentanyl, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver fentanyl, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Brown has outstanding warrants from Winston-Salem for kidnapping and assault with a deadly weapon after he reportedly took a woman against her will and cut her throat with a box cutter. The woman survived her injuries.
Brown was detained in the Wilkes County Jail under a secured bond of $150,000.
