Dennis Raymond Hunt
Dennis Raymond Hunt, age 54 of Elkin, faces charges that include attempted first-degree murder, assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill and assault and battery. Hunt is being held without bond in the Wilkes County Detention Center.
On Monday, March 25th around 6:45 pm, Wilkes County Deputies responded to Link Road in reference to a shooting. Deputies found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to a leg.
The victim was transported to Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. The subject who has not been identified, is reported to be in stable condition.
