Wilkes County Man Charged With Armed Robbery

A Wilkes County man has been charged after allegedly robbing a victim at gunpoint.

Samuel Edward Wagoner, age 53 of Hays, is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon according to the Wilkes County Sheriff’s Office.

The incident was reported on Saturday, July 6th.

Wagoner is being held in the Wilkes County Detention Center under a secured bond of $100,000.
