Many residents and businesses in the Bethlehem community are experiencing a water outage as a 12” water line has broken on NC Hwy. 127 near Horseshoe Bend MHP Drive. City of Hickory crews are on the scene making repairs, with completion expected within 4-5 hours. Bethlehem Elementary School and West Alexander Middle School are both affected by the outage, and may be dismissed soon.
