Watauga 3…game called after 5 innings
Alexander Central romped over Watauga on Monday at Central Park in Taylorsville.
The Lady Cougars started Kara Hinkle in the circle and she allowed 3 hits in the game that was called after 5 innings. All three runs she allowed were unearned in the 5th inning. Hinkle is 3-0 on the season.
Peyton Payne went 3-4 with 3 runs batted in, Faith Carrigan, playing first base hit a homer and drove in 3. Chesney Stikeleather was 3-4 and scored 3 runs.
ACHS improves to 6-1 overall and 5-1 in Northwestern Conference play.
