Linwood Russell Simms, age 24 of Midlothian, Virginia was arrested on September 24th by the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with two felony counts of statutory rape of a child 15 years of age or younger. Simms remains in the Iredell County Detention Center under a secured bond of $500,000. The next court appearance is scheduled for October 10th in Statesville.
