U.S. Highway 64 is closed east of Taylorsville at this time due to a serious vehicle crash.
One person has been airlifted to a regional medical facility.
A tractor trailer rig and a pickup truck collided just east of Adams Pond Lane. The highway is closed from Adams Pond Lane to Millersville Road at this time.
The NC Highway Patrol is in charge of the investigation.
