Two men sustained gunshot wounds on Friday in North Wilkesboro.
According to information from the North Wilkesboro Police Department, the shooting took place in the parking lot of Muzz’s Gym on Elkin Highway. Wilkes 911 received a call around 5pm reporting gunfire. A media account says around six shots were fired.
Two males were wounded and flown by helicopter to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Both are said to be in critical condition.
No other details have been released including if any arrests have been made.
