Two Claremont Residents Arrested In Alexander County

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested two Catawba County residents on Saturday, September 2nd.

21-year old Katelyn Marie Omans of Claremont was served an arrest warrant from Catawba County for first-degree trespass. She was transferred to the custody of the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.

34-year old David Earl Welch of Claremont was also served an arrest warrant from Catawba County for first-degree trespass and was transferred to the custody of the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.

Welch has a series of other charges pending in Catawba County that include felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and use of a red or blue light.
