A complaint filed last week with the Alexander County Board of Elections has been dismissed.
The Board convened Monday afternoon and conducted a hearing concerning the complaint. According to Board of Elections Director Cheryl Feimster, the item was dismissed by the board in a closed session meeting that lasted around 80 minutes.
The nature of the complaint has not been made public, nor the person or persons allegedly involved.
The Primary is set for Tuesday. Alexander County polling locations will open at 6:30 am and remain open until 7:30pm.
