Troutman Police Charge Man With Statutory Rape

A Troutman man has been charged with statutory rape of a child.

Arlo Gutierrez, age 51 of Susannah Street is in custody according to Troutman Police. Investigators began an investigation on January 21st after learning of the alleged sexual abuse of a child. Officers obtained warrants charging Gutierrez with felony rape of a child, felony sexual abuse of a child and five counts of indecent liberties with a child.

Mooresville Police assisted Troutman Investigators with the arrest on Friday, January 24th. Gutierrez is being held without bond in the Iredell County Detention Center.
