Three people were killed in a two-vehicle crash in Wilkes County on Friday. The accident was located on Boone Trail in the Purlear Community.
A driver and a passenger in a car and the driver of a pickup were pronounced dead at the scene.
The N.C. Highway Patrol is still investigating, no other details have been released.
The wreck occurred a little over a mile north of West Wilkes High School.
