Three COVID-19 Deaths Added In Alexander County

Three more Alexander County citizens have died of COVID-19 associated symptoms accroding to the County Department of Health. The death toll stands at 22 since the beginning of the pandemic.

As of 5am Sunday, the county has recorded 2,009 cases

284 people are in quarantine

15 people are in a hospital

1,623 people have recovered

There has been a total of 195 positive cases at the Alexander Correctional Institution, with 11 active cases. Alexander County remains one of 48 counties in the “red” tier of the state’s COVID-19 County Alert System for Critical Community Spread.
