One teen is dead, another person is wounded after a shoot-out at a Caldwell County convenience store Tuesday afternoon.
Around 1pm, Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the Market Basket on Highway 321 in Sawmills. 18-year old Cedrick Harshaw was taken to an area hospital and died as the result of his gunshot wound. One other person was also shot and taken to an area hospital as well. No update has been released on his condition.
Reports indicate Harshaw was armed although it’s not certain if he fired a shot.
More information is expected today.
