A teen has been charged with using social media to make threats that led to a pair of Caldwell County Schools to be placed in lockdown on Friday.
Brynnen Scott Gregory, 18, is charged with felony terrorism, felony making a false report concerning mass violence on educational property, misdemeanor disorderly conduct by disrupting students and misdemeanor communicating threats according to the Lenoir Police Department.
Lenoir Police were informed of the threat Friday morning involving Hibriten High School. The campus was placed on lockdown. William Lenoir Middle School was also placed on lockdown.
Brennen Scott Gregory was identified as a suspect and arrested.
