Kelly Renee Collins, age 40 of Taylorsville, was released from state prison on Friday after serving 20 months for possession of controlled substances while being held in the Alexander County Detention Center. Collins is back in the county jail after she was served warrants. She is scheduled to appear in District Court today on a 2024 charge of obtaining property by false pretense.
