Taylorsville Woman Jailed On Friday

Jatana Leigh Hamby, age 48 of Taylorsville, was arrested Friday morning by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She is charged with larceny, second-degree trespassing and resisting arrest. Hamby is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $10,000.

A previous charge of larceny is also pending against Hamby in Catawba County.
