Taylorsville Woman Jailed After Allegedly Slapping Deputy

Aimee Jo Cook, age 50, Devonshire RD., Taylorsville, was taken into custody overnight by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She’s charged with probation violation and assault on a government official. Allegedly she slapped a depututy in the face. Cook is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a bond listed at $15,000.
