Carolina Renae Boyles, age 30 of Taylorsville was sentenced to serve 45 days in jail on Monday, November 4th. She was ordered to serve the time by a District Court judge for probation violation. Boyles has a previous charge pending in Burke County for possession of controlled substance on jail premises and is scheduled to appear in court on December 9th in Morganton.
