Taylorsville Woman Facing Drug Charges In Two Counties

A Taylorsville woman is facing charges following her arrest on Monday.

Alexander County Sheriff’s Office Deputies charged 58-year-old Christine Carol Blackburn with felony possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was placed in the County Detention Center without bond.

Blackburn is also awaiting trial in Catawba County for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Those charges date to 2024. Her next Catawba County Superior Court date is March 17th.
