Taylorsville Woman Detained

Brittni Sky Lyons, age 30 of Taylorsville, was placed in custody Wednesday morning in Alexander County. She’s charged with felony probation violation and is being held in custody under a $10,000 secured bond. Lyons has pending charges in Catawba County that include felony possession of schedule II controlled substance, felony financial card theft and felony obtaining property by false pretense. She is scheduled for Catawba County Superior Court on February 19th.

Lyons is serving a 24 month suspended sentence issued in October 2023 in Alexander County for felony possession of schedule II controlled substance.
