Taylorsville Woman Charged After Fleeing Alexander County School Campus

33-year old Briana Danielle Roberts of Taylorsville was arrested Thursday morning by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She was allegedly involved in an incident on Wednesday involving a county school campus although according to a statement from Alexander County Schools Public Information Director Denita Dowell-Reavis, the incident was not inside the campus and no students were involved or endangered.

Roberts is said to have returned to the area on Thursday but fled when she was spotted by an Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputy.

The charges include disorderly conduct on a school campus, flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, driving with license revoked and resisting arrest. The arrest took place after Roberts fled the campus. She’s been released with a secured bond set at $7,500.

Roberts was convicted in September, 2024 of driving with license revoked in Alexander County. She ws given a suspended sentence.
