Taylorsville Woman Arrested Then Found To Be In Possession Of Drugs On Jail Premises

Maneka Shanea Nichols, 39, of Jolly Cemetery Rd in Taylorsville, was arrested Tuesday morning by the Taylorsville Police Department. She was charged with driving with license revoked. Nichols was later found to be in possession of drugs at the detention center. She is also charged with felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises and felony possession of schedule II controlled substance. Nichols is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with bond set at $21,000.
